Turning Property Valuation Services into a Complete Digital Platform Experience

WeVAL is a professional property valuation platform built for the Australian real estate market. Through a digital service experience, it helps home buyers connect with locally licensed valuers while providing independent and transparent assessments of property value, property condition and market risk.

Unlike a conventional corporate website, this project includes member functions, valuer matching, valuation requests, data entry and appraisal report generation, forming a complete digital service platform.

MASOU DESIGN restructured the overall website architecture from the perspectives of UI/UX Design, Web Application Design and Custom Web Development, creating a clear, trustworthy and intuitive user experience between professional property services and digital technology.

Map-Based Search for a More Intuitive Valuer Matching Journey

One of WeVAL's core services is helping users find suitable professional valuers in their local area.

Rather than using the homepage only for brand introduction, the Find a Valuer function is integrated directly into the primary user journey. Through an Australia-wide map and location-based search, users can quickly begin the valuer matching process.

WeVAL's service focuses on connecting users with a local licensed valuer and reducing the risks that home buyers may face when making decisions with insufficient property information.

For the Real Estate Platform UX Design, we organized the experience into the following journey:

User Needs → Location Selection → Valuer Matching → Valuation Request → Case Management

Clear CTAs, location guidance and information hierarchy transform a relatively complex property valuation service into a digital journey that is easier to understand and navigate.

Building a Professional, Trustworthy and Technology-Driven Design System

Property valuation involves pricing, risk and important home-buying decisions. For this reason, WeVAL's visual identity avoids an overly playful technology style and instead focuses on three key qualities: Professional, Trustworthy and Technology.

The UI Design System uses deep blue, bright blue and low-saturation light blue as its primary color palette, reflecting the sense of trust commonly associated with finance, real estate and professional advisory services. Gradients and linear architectural elements are used to introduce a stronger Property Technology character.

A clean sans-serif typeface, generous spacing and clear information hierarchy help maintain readability across forms, data-heavy content and functional interfaces.

From Navigation, Buttons, Forms, Cards and Icons to Dropdowns and member menus, we established a consistent UI Component System so that different functional pages follow the same interaction logic.

Turning a Professional Workflow into a Clear Digital Form Experience

Another core function of WeVAL allows valuers to complete property valuation reports directly within the platform after accepting a case.

Unlike a simple Contact Form, this workflow involves extensive property information, market data, valuation methods and professional assessment content. The UX Planning process therefore begins by breaking the complete workflow into clear stages.

Valuers can enter information step by step, including:

Property details, property condition, local market analysis, Comparable Market Analysis, Property Defects, Valuation Methods, Final Valuation and professional recommendations.

By using segmented forms and a clear visual hierarchy, users do not have to face a large number of fields at once. Functions such as Previous / Next and Save and Continue Later also help maintain a clear rhythm throughout a longer professional workflow.

From Data Entry to Automated Valuation Report Generation

Once all valuation information has been completed, the system organizes the data entered into the platform and converts it into a formal PDF appraisal report.

Valuers do not need to copy the information again, redesign the layout or create a separate document. Instead, the system automatically organizes the content according to a predefined Report Template, including:

Property information, property condition, market analysis, valuation results, photographs and professional recommendations.

After completion, the valuer can review the content on the Report Complete page and generate a PDF report that can be downloaded or sent directly to the client.

The complete workflow becomes:

Data Entry → Structured Data → Report Generation → PDF Output

Through the integration of UI/UX and system workflows, a valuation process that originally relied heavily on manual work is transformed into a more efficient, standardized and manageable digital service.
